Using this website
These terms govern use of generalvalue.eu and its public information. The site presents our services, people, projects and publications, and lets you contact us or request the newsletter. Browsing, sending an enquiry or receiving an automated acknowledgement does not commission work or create a paid subscription. Individual engagements require a separately agreed scope.
Commissioning work
Any consulting, public-affairs, brand, product or other professional assignment is governed by its written proposal or contract. That agreement sets the scope, deliverables, responsibilities, timetable, commercial terms, confidentiality and project-specific rights. Website descriptions explain possible work; they do not promise funding, approvals, financial returns, clinical results or another particular outcome.
Information and project records
Read information with its stated dates, sources, credits and project status. Work from partners' earlier roles is attributed to them and is not presented as a General Value engagement. Concept or planned work is identified as such. Website articles and examples provide general context; advice for a particular business or project requires a suitable agreed assignment. Tell us if you find an error so we can review it.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully and provide information you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate another person, submit malicious material, bypass access controls, misuse the forms or disrupt the service. Automated access to public information must respect the published technical access rules, applicable law and intellectual-property rights. Public pages may be linked to and referenced with appropriate attribution.
Website materials
Text, identity, design, photographs and other materials belong to General Value or their credited rights holders. You may read, link to and reference public materials subject to applicable law. Reproducing or adapting protected images, logos, publications or other materials requires the rights holder's permission unless a legal exception applies. A project credit, illustration or source link does not transfer third-party rights or imply endorsement.
Information you send
You retain your rights in the information you send us. We use it to handle the enquiry and, where agreed, perform the work, as explained in the Privacy Policy and any engagement agreement. Send only information necessary for the initial discussion and use an agreed channel for confidential project documents. Submitting material does not give us a general right to publish it.
Privacy and optional subscriptions
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Newsletter signup and analytics permission are separate choices. You can use the enquiry form without subscribing or accepting analytics, and may withdraw those permissions as explained in the policy. These website terms do not replace a choice where consent is required.
External links and services
The website links to source publications and other independent websites, and offers videos through an external player. Those providers operate their services under their own terms and privacy rules. We select references for context and attribution; we do not control changes to external content. Check the relevant provider's terms when you use its service.
Availability and responsibility
We maintain the website and review reported errors, but access can be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems or circumstances outside our control. Information may change as projects and sources develop. Nothing in these terms removes a responsibility, remedy or right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Responsibilities for commissioned work are addressed in its agreement, subject to mandatory law.

Portuguese law applies to these website terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Contact hello@generalvalue.eu first so we can try to resolve a concern. Applicable law determines the competent courts and preserves any mandatory consumer rights, complaint channels and dispute-resolution rights.
Changes and contact
