At Chord Group, Stephen Watson led special economic zone design and strategic planning across Afghanistan, Malta and the Cayman Islands.
The first work to commission.National strategic plans and zone masterplanning linking proposed activities to jurisdictions, regulatory frameworks and development requirements.
As Managing Partner at Chord Group, Stephen Watson led planning for an Afghanistan network around former coalition airbases with the IFC and the World Bank. The plans were developed and presented to the head of state; his planning work also covered Malta and the Cayman Islands.
